HR Coordinator
Location: St. Louis
Salary Range: $50,000 – $57,000 USD* Year
Position summary
The role primarily involves maintaining compliance and strong organization of Human Resources related processes, documentation, and employee lifecycle tasks, as well as supporting employees with HR-related inquiries. This position will also provide strong learning and networking opportunities like attending meetings, employee relations meetings, and more.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support all internal and external related inquiries or requests.
- Manage employee contracts, appointments letter and changes..
- Manage company databases by inputting new employee contact information and employment details.
- Maintain digital and electronic records of employees.
- Screening potential employees’ resumes and application forms to identify suitable candidates to fill company job vacancies.
- Manage the overall recruitment process from posting job openings through onboarding.
- Organizing interviews with shortlisted candidates.
- Market Research salary information.
- Schedule meetings, interviews, HR events and maintain agendas.
- Produce and submit reports on general HR activity.
- Ensure legal compliance of HR state and federal regulations and applicable to employment laws, and update policies and/or procedures as required.
EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
- Two (2) more years’ previous human resource experience preferred.
- Must have good computer skills.
- Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications.
- The ability to work as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent administrative and organizational skills.
- Effective communication skills.
- Detail-oriented.
- Proven experience working in an office environment.
- Working knowledge of U.S. labor laws.
SKILLS & ATTITUDES REQUIRED FOR SUCCESS IN JOB
- Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Must have the ability to work well with people from diverse cultural and professional backgrounds and must be comfortable working in demanding situations
- General computer skills and knowledge of MS Suite / Office programs
